Vattenfall cleans its Product Data through Omikron's Data Quality solutions.

Vattenfall Europe had a challenge in Product Data Management after many acquisitions and mergers. Products and spare parts were listed multiple times. They contacted Omikron Data Quality which has been running a project to clean up the database so that they get a clean Master Database.
The result is that we have cleansed 30,000 dual products in a database of 400,000.

Vattenfall Europe has been impressed by the efficiency of Omikron's Data Quality solution, and can now reap the benefits of this. Some vendors have admitted that they probably have sold the same product to different Vattenfall sections where the term and the price could vary a lot.
