Omikron Duplicate Check Conducting business with persons or companies affected by government sanctions is illegal. This is clearly stated by the EU directives issued to combat terrorism. These directives (2580/2001 and 881/2002) require companies to compare their data with the addresses contained in the sanction list. Failing to observe these rules can lead to severe fines or even prison sentences. There is also the risk of being placed on the sanction list itself.

To meet the requirements of the EU directives, you must compare your business addresses with an approved sanction list.

Omikron offers sanction list testing as a module for AddressCenter, using the same proven comparison algorithms applied to duplicate searching. Our technology delivers precise results, even when used on international addresses. Simply assign the appropriate address fields and start the comparison. AddressCenter marks any records belonging to persons or entities suspected of terrorist involvement, without deleting them. Once the comparison is complete, you can use the marks recorded in the status field to quickly locate and quarantine (or delete) all such records from the database.

Includes verification

The intuitive user interface makes it easy to verify the data records identified by the sanction list comparison. Even better, records that have been evaluated and verified need not be re-checked after future comparisons with the same list, thus avoiding repeated work.
